THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR OUR HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM IS OPEN!

Application packages for our Homeownership program are currently available at the ReStore at 337 Maxwell Avenue in the City of Greenwood.  The ReStore is open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Prospective homebuyers will be asked to complete the application and return the package to the ReStore by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020.

To be eligible for the Homeownership program, an applicant must live or work within Greenwood County and have a total household income of 60 percent or less of the area median income of Greenwood County as determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and charted by household size.  Beyond those basic eligibility requirements, we will evaluate each applicant’s need for housing, willingness to partner, and ability to pay an affordable mortgage.
